Dobber - ABV: 5.9%
Continuing on my look at local (ish) breweries, I had been looking forward to trying this beer for a while.
I wonder where the name comes from...

Dobber is a pale, orangey coloured IPA from Marble Brewery in Manchester.
It poured quite well, with quite a dense head which lasted right down the glass with good lacing.
The aroma is heavy with aromatic hops with hints of grapefruit and the flavour is much the same, with sharp grapefruit and an aftertaste remeniscent of freshly cut grass, perhaps with nettles...
If you enjoy a strong (almost overwhelming) flavoured bitter with a heavy punch and long lasting, dry, hoppy finish, this is definitely for you.
Verdict: 4/5
