Holcombe Hill - ABV: 4.1%
One of the 6 beers from Wilson Potter Brewery I bought last weekend when Kathryn and Amanda (who run the brewery) were at Stalybridge Farmer's Market.

Holcombe Hill is a blonde, bottle conditioned ale that poured really well, with a lovely, long lasting head and a gorgeous golden colour with a light effervescence.
The aroma is a refreshing blend of citrus - almost like smelling a freshly-cut grapefruit, with added lemon on top!
The flavour is quite complex... A lovely, balanced bitterness, complimented again by a citrusy flavour with a long, dry, hoppy finish. Mrs BeerBlog took one sip and said "Ooh, that's gorgeous!"...
I can't disagree, a really clean and refreshing beer.
Considering Wilson Potter have only been brewing professionally for less than 2 years, this is brilliant stuff and truly heartwarming to see a local (to me) brewery producing ale of this quality so quickly.
What will their beers be like in another 2 years? I can't wait to find out...
Straight into my Top 10
Verdict: 4.5/5
