Tandle Hill - ABV: 3.9%
Tandle Hill is a blonde beer from the girls at Wilson Potter Brewery in Middleton, Manchester. It's a light, lively beer that poured really well with a thick, long lasting head. The head actually lasted to the bottom of the glass - a rare occurrence for a bottled beer.
Tandle Hill has bags of citrus on the nose. In fact, I reckon there's probably more than I could sense, as Mrs Beer Blog had just baked a chocolate cake and I was a tad distracted by the lovely smell...
Chocolate cake aside, the flavour confirms my initial impression; bags of citrus and a lovely smoothness that progresses to a long, dry, hoppy finish.
Again, Mrs Beer Blog took one sip and said "Gorgeous" - believe me, this doesn't happen often...
Wilson Potter have done it again. A lovely, smooth, dry, citrusy beer that thoroughly satisfies.
Verdict: 4/5
