T'Yellow Jersey - ABV: 4.2%
A quick couple of blogs this evening to commemorate the closing stage of The Tour de France and to pay respect to the fine athletes who took part, especially Vincenzo Nibali who won this year's Tour and kept t'yellow jersey for almost the entire race.
First off is a pale ale from Barnsley's Two Roses Brewery, a family-run, three year old company making a name for themselves in Northern England.
T'Yellow Jersey was brewed to celebrate Yorkshire's participation in this year's Tour. It's a nicely carbonated, straw coloured pale ale brewed with a mixture of English and French hops and Yorkshire spring water.
It's fresh, lively, well balanced with a nice dry finish.
Verdict: 4/5
